Training
We’ve helped over 650 people across over 40 training sessions, in a myriad of domains including aeronautics and space, biotechnology, cyber warfare, embedded, energy, government, networking, and software-as-a-service. We look forward to helping your company as well!
Content
For building up fundamental Rust skills, we have an established session that has received very positive feedback. It covers topics such as:
- core syntax
- ownership and borrowing
- the type system
- error handling
- iterating
Plus a flexible selection of advanced topics towards the end of the course; some companies choose to focus on concurrency and asynchronous programming, while others focus on unsafe code and embedded.
This session is well-suited for developers coming up to speed with Rust and uses a mix of lecture and hands-on exercises.
Trainer
Integer 32’s primary trainer is Jake Goulding.
Attendees
Any number of people can attend, but we encourage limiting to 15-20 participants as this allows each person time to ask questions and get personalized feedback.
Duration
We have two sizes of training that we suggest:
- 3-day training from 9:00 to 17:00.
- 5-day training from 9:00 to 15:00. Participants have indicated they prefer this format as each day is a bit more manageable.
Format
Many companies opt for an online training session. We also offer on-site training where you would also cover travel, hotel, and meals, plus a fee for overall travel time, depending on where the training is located.
